I’ve put the Thoughts of Leith podcast on the backburner, perhaps permanently. If you’ve missed anything since the last episode promoted on j.nelsonleith.com (Ep32) here’s the playlist. Enjoy!

Instead of unboxing, I talk about the crazy way a book was shipped to me. Yes, it arrived early, so that’s cool. But, the route it took was hilarious. To be clear, I’m happy with the timing, I just found the logistics baffling.
In this ep, I want to encourage people living on their own to just experiment with cooking. Don’t rely on restaurants and prepackaged food. Try stuff out! I’m a terrible cook, but I have fun playing with food. So can you!
In this episode, I add to my colonial read-pile, reveal a few reference books, discuss non-fiction science, and unbox a very fascinating board game!
I discuss the 20th episode of the Two Johns Scifi podcast and the dynamic between genre and political #message, including other genres of fiction: fantasy, detective fiction, thrillers.
.
Oh this unboxing! I add to my colonial history read-pile for my upcoming Easter vacation, plus a remarkable book about a black guy growing up in Nazi Germany and some meat bars for my quasi-keto diet.
You may remember my Elevator Pitch for a National Museum of Sail. I decided to do a Thoughts of Leith episode on it!
Apologies for the video editing weirdness at the beginning. To be honest, I just wanted to see if I could speak backward phonetically in a way that would be understandable when reversed.
Enjoy the podcast!
There have been a few set-backs this weekend, so I decided to do a sort of “get it TF together” podcast to wrap up the stuff I’ve been up to lately. I talk about the postponing of the Two Johns podcast, the books I’ve been reading, my own books, and music I’ve been trying to share rather than just keeping it to myself.
Well, here we are again! Another episode of Thoughts of Leith. This time, I discuss accessing scientific research, my publishing efforts, and some things I bought.
I promised fewer unboxing videos, but this one was impossible to pass up because my brother sent me a surprise!
