In 2026, the internet collapsed and World War III began. The Starving War. Seven billion died. New regional governments rose up as the old countries fell apart. Civilization began piecing itself back together.
Many decades later in the early 22nd century, a Georgia Accord cred up code-named Scuttle is sent to thwart an international ransom scheme. A Type II autistic developed as “nodular,” his cognition is broken up into semi-autonomous nodes to free up his executive node for abstract, strategic thinking.
This thinking backfires when he uncovers a deeper plot to undermine governments around the world toward a global hegemony. Now he’s stuck unraveling that plot alongside action group ops Sidewinder, Tran, and Marina, whom Scuttle isn’t sure he can trust.
